Lizzie's venom seems based in her distorted perception of the value of her education and skills. Most jobs farmed out from the core of an operation are as a rule "hack" positions. Nothing creative, nothing but status quo junk production and development issues.
No different than the scale of industrial production or even tomato picking.

Many software and engineering jobs farmed to China, for instance are due to language and cultural differences. Some things simply have to be written and/or developed within the culture as they don't translate.

If your job can be sent offshore, it simply means your skill levels are not adequate to compete with the next level, that remains in the states. You are in effect a hack. They don't need to pay Yuppie wages to hack employees. In the day when excess was the theme of the day and dot.com meant your company was worth a billion, died when the cold reality set in. Never was worth a billion and very few developers and engineers are needed for what was actually the core of the tech revolution.

You come up with something exciting and marketable or improve a present market of device and you will get paid well...stateside digs and all the trappings.

TOO many expected to be treated as though they were rare. Obviously they aren't rare.

You replied:

This personalization of Bush blunders is tiring. People that point out Bush's failed policies are mostly concerned about the health of the country, not their personal pocketbook.

Bush created the largest deficit ever in 3 short years. The only way to deal with a deficit is "growth", presumably revenue growth. But not growth in corporate taxes, because corps don't pay much in the way of taxes to offset the HUGE Bush pork spending. With fewer wageearners(sic) to pick up Bush's HUGE tab, how to you expect to remedy the situation? Spell it out please, thanks.

BTW I notice your profile says you are a "state investigator", living off the government I presume? It figures, no wonder you can't balance a budget.

You continue to demonstrate your belief that you are superior and have superior skills. You don't or you would be paid satisfactorily for those skills. The fact that you don't get paid as you believe you should is evidence that you aren't worth it. It is that simple. You have no marketable skills to obtain the employment to which you aspire. You need to reassess your goals and your skills and take a path more fulfilling. If it requires some changes, education or training, just do it. Don't complain that the president is affecting your seat on the gravy train.

Your comment about government employees is very telling. I suppose along with me, they are all worthless. What about the democrat employees of government? I have many friends that are government employees and are democrats. Are they okay?
