He made one truthful statement. He does not get it, but I have strong feeling he is paid to not get it.

But if he wants to check further he might find that production per man(person) hour has increased dramatically because of technology and will continue to increase exponentially for the forseeable future. The day of the worker on the automobile paint line dying from lung disease(as an example) is over, as robotics and technology take over. And yes, there will be employed persons to purchase these products and life and the environment will improve throughout the world because of technology.
