Kerry stopped fundraising actively some time ago. He is focusing on campaigning and using his own money to free himself up to campaign more. Fundraising is very time-consuming and involves time away from NH and Iowa. Those two states are everythng now. If he doesn't do well there who cares about financing? If he does well though the money will flow in quickly again. Kerry is still the $2 fundraiser with some 23 million raised plus 7 of his own
