Condor, <<only way to play the game is to outperform inflation>> ... I believe so;

certain <<equity markets and ... gold and also currencies speculation>> ... and certain real estates that can survive the onslaught of interest rate rise;

<<rather unnerving situation for seniors>> ... and everybody;

<<forced to speculate>> ... yes, no null positions and no place to hide, must mix it up in the death match arena;

<<the scene is set for theft from the aged and the unknowing>> ... sadly true, due to the stupidity that is Maestro Greensputin and the evil that is Professor BurnAndKaput. They never bothered with dusty archives and musty books, and they never took the time to understand what happened in Japan and Argentina.

So, now, to the last-man-standing death-match arena, in a game we do not make the rules, are not taught, not allowed to win, and cannot quit, until we too get <<aged>> and become <<the unknowing>>, when it is our turn to be stolen from ;0/

For us in HK, it is one more hour before 2004!

Chugs, Jay
