All I was saying is that looking at "initial jobless claims" in isolation does not give the full picture. Continuing claims, and expired claims from jobless people also need to be considered to get a true picture of unemployment.

I was let go in september and hired in Novemeber for a january 1 start date.

I am glad to see somebody on this board will be working. I got my SS notice yesterday for my new monthly allotment. It is going up enough to cover the increase in my "Part B," and my Kaiser medical increase.

I need more of you guys working!
