So when are we changing our flag back to the Naval Ensign with appropriate heraldry? We forgot to include an amphibian rampant with a stick of dynamite in mandible, and a beggar supplicant with a King omnipotent with hand in beggar's pocket. These two last items would bring the heraldry up to date.

We had the prettiest flag on the planet, and we traded it is for a lousy pink maple leaf that looks like a traffic accident. Pink maple leaves are fallen. Could at least have been green. But they wanted grit pink.

marcos here is an interesting report from Venezuela...

It seems that terrorists are classified by the US according to who trained them and who they attack rather than what they do...

vheadline.com

Venezuelanalysis.com reports that two rebel Venezuelan military officers have asked for political asylum in the United States alleging that they are suffering from political persecution as they face investigation of their roles in last February's terrorist attacks against the Spanish Embassy and the Consulate of Colombia in Caracas........

....... US Immigration & Customs (ICE) sources have confirmed for El Nuevo Heraldo that Varela and Colina had entered the United States on tourist visas and that both of them had previously undergone military training courses in the United States, with approval of the US Department of Defense.
