I used to trade that stock a lot but haven't done anything with it recently. My last trade on it was a buy at about 87 cents and sale at about 1.15 near the bottom of the bear market. I thought that I was doing well with that trade! lol The stock only got that low because of a combination of several factors: terrible market for IT stocks and sales of IT equipment, bear market in general, and removal from the S&P small cap index, the latter which caused the final low below a buck. Thanks for reminding me that I should have bought about 50,000 shares at 87 cents and held to today! lol My contest picks: VSH short and MTXX long. What a surprise, huh? I find it interesting that nobody has selected a short candidate for the contest yet. Seems to me that there's too much bullish sentiment around, and many stocks are now overvalued. That doesn't mean that the momentum won't carry them higher, but most stocks certainly don't deserve a higher valuation based on their fundamentals. MTXX is one exception, and I believe that the stock is still way undervalued when you compare their PE to their expected growth. That said, I'm hoping that the stock continues to pull back so I can reload what I sold in the 18.15 to 18.50 range. VSH is way overvalued in my opinion, and I shorted more personal today at 23.11. They are a fine company, and sell many commonly used electronic components. The stock just isn't worth where it is trading based on their expected growth. I won't have a computer until next weekend. Have a very happy new year, everyone! Be safe and merry. Dan
