If we try to get a physical universe from nothing we fail. WRONG by current physical theory - that's the science of physics I am referring to. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle does not permit "nothing" and "space" to coexist. That fact underlies many otherwise unexplainable forces of the "action at a distance" type. You may postulate a bogeyman as Creator if you wish, but remember if you do so, any other man's bogeyman is just as valid as yours, regardless of his bogeyman's requirements. And, for that matter, I can allow creation by "god"- -and still admit nothing of yours or, for that matter, of the thousands of "gods" men have dreamed up. A touchstone to determine the actual worth of an "intellectual"--find out how he feels about astrology. - "The Notebooks of Lazarus Long" applies equally well to gods, religion, and theology.
