Oh here we go again... Syria is way more diverse that you can imagine. There is a government that is very friendly ... to just about everyone. Then there are very fundamental and radical regions of the country that are opposed to each other, their own government, us, etc; as well as, being allied to Al-Quaida type groups from where-ever. When crap happens, we blame the govenment of Syria but that is about as dumb as blaming the USA for the actions of White Supremacy extremist groups in Idaho. The interior regions are controlled by war lords similar to Pakistan and Afghanistan.
