IGIT, Why don't you answer Brian and explain why God said,

"Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved,
but Esau have I hated."

I must admit that if God loves all, since he made us all, it is fair to assume he did it in love. He raised the King of Egypt to further his kingdom and I am sure, like he says, he did it with much thought and perhaps trepidation to raise those like that who have brought death and misery to many millions in the world.

Some things are just too heavy for most of us and we must assume that God, in his perfect knowledge, did it for a reason that we cannot understand completely. However, he did state that he hated Esau and I would appreciate it, since you profess to know exactly what God thinks, to explain that passage rather than to dismiss Brian as untruthful.

James

I can fully explain both John 3:16 and 2 Peter 3:9

as well as the verse I questioned you upon.

You can not - nor are you sincere in your quest for truth.

However concerning what I just said your response will likely be

"That is not a statement someone makes who follows the Lords word."

Did Jesus not tell men when they were wrong?

Did not Paul tell men when they were wrong?

Did not John the Baptist tell men when they were wrong?

Is there anything more loving then to tell a man the truth?

I am telling you - You are wrong

God does not love everyone and I proved it with this verse.

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved,
but Esau have I hated.

You apparently do not care what God has said in the Bible.

I can not bid you "God speed"

So if you are not interested in

"REASONING TOGETHER"

Those of us who know God's truth can not help you...

but I have done all I can by telling you the truth.

God loves the elect - Jesus died for the sheep - not the goats.

God does not loves everyone nor does He love satan.

Brian

Good Morning IGIT, and all those who love the Lord Jesus Christ;

You quoted;

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with................

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD . "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be as wool

Can you not see who these verses are addressed to ????

They are the people of God.................NOBODY else

Before you respond, please consider who these letters were addressed to by Peter and Isaiah

Brian and Santiago are labouring to set you free from the doctrines and traditions of man, may the Lord continue to use them mightily.

Grace and peace unto you.

Robert
