I have already put Mr. Levine on Ignore since he lacked any redeeming value. Others have something to say of interest but they combine it with too much political rhetoric. The best solution is a measure of self control by all of us combined with a sense of just why we came to this site in the first place. It wasn't for predominantly political discourse.

Dear Gus: As you know, we operate on a Global scale. I cannot understand why people do not realize our equity markets are at least as vulnerable to terrorism and the results of the fight against it as they are to the myriad of press releases companies put out on a daily basis. I, like you, am interested in the environment in which we must operate. If you or anyone who knows how would like to set up a thread combining business and world events I certainly would follow. jdn

Under that theory Gus anybody could discuss anything at anytime on any thread. The solution is simple enough--move it over to the World Affairs thread and have at to your heart's content.

We're here to learn about EMC specifically. We all know that MACRO events can effect all stocks. Now you have been a fine and valuable resource for all EMC followers, but I do think you have lost perspective here. When we come to this thread we ARE NOT INTERESTED in world events or foreign policy and to put it blountly you guys are screwing it up!

Now please take it elsewhere!

PS. Putting you on ignore Gus doesn't work because that means missing out on the valuable insights you provide about EMC.
