Elmat, At the simplest level, <<Inflation can construct instead of destroying>> ... but only in the aggregate sense that a few will win and most will lose, and thus, in the net net, inflation destroys, and ferocious inflation destroys terribly, else LatAm would be the most wealthy continent and Zimbabwe would be the richest nation.

<<Inflation ... is no more than a tax on the individuals who can't protect or hedge against inflation>> ... and that would be most people, in the aggregate net net, else there would be more rich folks than poor people.
