The Republicans are going to have a great chance to reform the system, but not the guts to do it. I expect to suffer through every minute of Bush's second term. Nothing in the world distresses me as much as lost opportunity and this would not only be lost but squandered. Given free rein, they will expend themselves instead on the issues of the social conservatives. That, from my perspective is a double whammy. Will has been trying to nudge the GOP back on track for a while now. I wish him luck.
