aw, c'mon pomps. You're full of contradictions:

"....added a lot of valuable information to the thread about the technological aspects of the DRAM world. I valued and still value that perspective."

"For me it is not about the technology, it is about the cash flow."

Which is it? Between that and the FOMC gaffe, I'm beginning to wonder about the champagne that you fed to pompsander last night with the doggie biscuit.<g>

Even if it were about the technology, the info provided by that playa was so full of misinformation, spin, and admitted lies that only folks with greater design knowledge than scb (or is it this guy? bilow.com could stand to possibly gain anything from reading those endless diatribes.

Hi pompsander; Re: "My problem with Carl is best exemplified by his post of August 2000 that I reposted yesterday. I just don't think it was valuable for him to declare that it was his job to tell everyone "i told you so". It ruined what credibility he had."

You still just don't get it. If I were paid by Micron, sure, I'd want "credibility", whatever the hell that is. But as I've told you guys many times in the past, I'm not here to convince anyone to do anything. All I'm here to do is to amuse myself and say "I told you so". And I'd love to have you explain what you mean by "valuable". I'm not paid to post here, and as far as I know, no one ever has been.

If I had convinced all you pack of b-holes to sell out your RMBS at $100+ per share, believe me, it would not have made me feel any better than to watch you ignore me, concluding that I had no "credibility", and to take the punishment that the market then delivered.

Rambus management is the people who need to have credibility, because they're the ones that actually want you to do something, namely to buy Rambus stock that they're selling.

But the Rambus believers continue to believe, in the face of Rambus management's continuing to give the shaft to their shareholders in the form of misleading and false information.

Pomp - Your respect for Carl Bilow is almost beyond comment.

His perspective of the DRAM industry? Anyone in August of 2000 could have called any tech stocks demise and been correct.

This clown has failed to even remotely grasp the situation. He MISSED it by a mile. His elitist attack on "Mom and Pop" is the biggest joke as he resents a true engineer, Mark Horowitz's coming windfall. He also thinks that 2.00 on a trade is decent money. He refers to Mark Horowtz concepts as napkin scribble. If you want an engineers perspective, look up Horowitz at Stanford and read some of his papers.

You'd probably be oh so impressed with Carl Bilow's perspective on "Why the World is Flat?" if it contained nice italics, links and mis-quotes. Me knowing that the world is round......wouldn't find Carls 'perspective' all that impressive.

As for Don Green. He never posted anything timely. He claimed to be impartial but 75% of his posts were anti-Rambus. He'd occasionally throw a half ass pro-Rambus friendly article up there.

Go to Yahoo or the Fool and get your news instantly.

The more Carl Bilow posted, the more I bought. End of story.
