First off, I dont think its fair to call a man an idiot who was suffering so much pain he had to have a fix for it. Knowing the pain I get sometimes in my shoulder I SHUDDER to think what it must be like to have it in the ear. Secondly, I am not so sure the pain killer is what caused him to lose his hearing. I really dont have all the facts in this matter cause contrary to what you might think, I rarely listen to Rush, its my wife who has to hear him but she only gets too when we travel and she listens on the radio as we drive. I just have a lot of compassion for him or anyone else that is basically an honest lawabiding citizen and gets "trapped" into something like this through conditions really out of his control. jdn
