>> The Question is is the blast over? Is it down from here?

If the "blast" is SIRI's runup of last week, who knows? It SHOULD be over, as it was unwarranted in the first place. There is no apparent good news to have caused it (although there is buyout speculation, it is just that, speculation). The company is still executing poorly, spending wildly, failing to get key OEM deals rolling, and way, way behind XM.

If the "blast" is the continued sub growth of both companies, the answer is "no", it isn't over. Both companies will continue to add subs for a long time yet. XM will have added over 400K subs in Q4. SIRI will have added a quarter that I expect, perhaps a few more, WHICH IS MAJOR PROGRESS FOR SIRI.

In general, SDARS is going to make money for everyone who gets in it. But there continues to be much more risk in SIRI than in XM. In particular, SIRI is going to have to have more cash to break even -- when they're done, they may well have two billion shares outstanding vs. XM's 275-300M.

What I really love about this excessive run up in the stock price is the excessive idle chatter --- “Folly” that comes from impassioned individuals. I am looking at the stock chart and the various aspects of it. Without being too specific about anything but the volume, that volume speaks all for itself. Three days running on increasing volume and price. Most would expect a pullback. And if in the past siri has given back all its gains maybe now the pattern will change. One observation I have made over time is that it takes a whole lot less volume to drive a stock down than it takes to run it up. All that being said, again where will the stock go from here. I sure am glad I am holding a stock that is going up on huge increases in volume and price than to own some stock going nowhere. Generally speaking stocks that move up like this are showing some type of support from not only traders. “Who then”? Might someone be buying this for an investment thinking of the future prospects? Hell who ever knows that answer. I just like being in a winning situation rather than getting beat again!
