Howdy Sergio,,I don't remember voting on anything..;^)..My play on gold is specific, sa miners only..It's a speculative play on the rand weakening as much as gold rising. I expect an interest rate cut coming out of sa within the first q. My play on gold is also a hedge against what I believe to be a bubble in the markets and a top within 2 weeks for the nearterm..and my pumping of Drooy(aside from the fact that I have a shitload of shares<vbg>), I think the stock is coiled up tight and ready to run further than the 22% gain I already have. True, all of the other commodities aren't medals.
Comparison of gold index versus commodity index only shows that it is outperforming a basket of commodities not metals.

Another one of our aims is to make money.

Our gold stock is already outperforming 17 (60%) of our other 28 current picks and it was a relatively recent addition. Well everyone has to decide diversification issues for themselves.
