I admit I don't fully follow your logic here today. Perhaps too much eggnog <ggg>.

I need to skip over the statement that terrorism has not killed on a mass basis. Any terrorism is not acceptable. I don't want to live in fear that a restaurant may be bombed. Israelis live in fear and other nations may soon have that fear visited upon them.

I agree with you that it is hard to understand why other "mass" acts haven't occurred. Logically, if someone will ram a plane into a building to kill thousands, wouldn't he detonate a dirty nuke to kill and make ill 10s' of thousands??

Blaming the right and looking under rocks for hidden agenda isn't going to do anything. It won't stop terror and it won't lead to analysis and efficiency.

Government is wasteful and inefficient whether it be Dem, Repub, Conservative, Liberal, etc., in US, France, Italy, UK, etc., etc.

There will always be the fight to get efficient government from those who tend to gravitate to the free lunch and excesses of patronage. It's not philosophy or agenda. It's greed and pork barrel.

As I posted, given my anathema to historical deprivation of rights, I'm reluctant to give up any rights. I still don't see any alternatives being offered, other than "pretend it's not there."
