Everyone has heard "God hates sin but love the sinner"

It is an unbiblical invention of men who do not understand.

If God can separate sin from the one committing it then
why doesn't God just put the sin in hell instead of sinners?

Sin is an "act" done by sinners.

Without sinners there is no sin.

Sin is any lack of conformity to God's law.

The truth is that God hates sinners but in Christ loves the elect.

Those whom he predestinates to heaven and salvation are loved
the rest are not - they perish in Hell forever.

Look what Jesus said:

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus says he "never ever knew them"
- does that mean Jesus did not realize they existed?

No this kind of "knowing" is the same as Adam "knew" his wife Eve.

It is an intimate relationship of love.

Jesus never loved them

Also Jesus says "depart from me YE THAT WORK INIQUITY"

Iniquity is SIN - Jesus hates those sinners not just their sin.

'...depart from me ye who work lawlessness and sin'

Jesus loves His sheep and hates the goats.

Jacob (the elected one) I have loved but Esau (the one NOT elected) have I hated.

Jacob = Sheep
Esau = Goat

"Lost sheep" are converted to Christ - goats can never be.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:
them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice;
and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Do any of the sheep get lost by the Good Shepard

John 18:9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake,
Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

Jesus save all those whom He intends to save and loses none.

John 3:16 does not teach that God loves ALL MEN but you
do not want to know what it really says or you would ask.
