That Iraq has nothing to do with Al Qaeda and hence the Iraqi military adventure is a diversion from that war is aptly brought out in this article.

So you are of the opinion that the US should not bother itself to foster political and economic openess (as well as religious tolerance) within the Middle East?

Do you believe that the US should continue to support and tolerate the status quo, with millions of people denied humanitarian, political, and human rights, subjugated to the rule of aristorcratic, or theological elites?

Do you believe that Islamic militancy and the lack of economic and political participation by the average Arab has no correlation?

Do you regret the economic and political restructuring the US undertook in both Europe and Japan after WWII?
