Looking at the big picture, if the US raises rates, the rest of the world will probably go along in lock step, just as they did when the FED began to lower rates.

The US dollar would therefore not gain relative to other currencies. Just another consideration to ponder.

Bonds under heavy pressure again today as stocks move still higher. I doubt that even the Fed bubbeloneons can stay on their current course much longer. And I agree with your idea that the Fed will hike sooner and faster than the consensus expects.
