hdl, Good story. For custom shirts, Ascot Chang is hard to beat. Charles Tyrhitt aren't custom cut, but their off the rack fit me as well as Ascot Chang for one third the price. And the quality of their "premium" shirts is every bit as good. As far as Italian shoes go, I have found Bruno Magli to be very resilient. Some of the others I agree on, especially Pitti. Wonderfully comfortable shoes, but not made for a long life. And they are expensive. 35 cleanings? Well, I guess my Borrelli has done its time. It seems to be changing color, too, so I think it may see its way to Goodwill this weekend.
