Mike, I will be honest with you in saying that I believe the dow is tremendously overextended and near the top of its trading range.

However I don't believe any number like 10500 has anything magical, or that 10500 is a number that even grounded in reality is overly special, to keep the market from advancing under the right set of circumstances.

I believe the market is due to consolidate for a week or so. Perhaps the next two weeks.

We are too overbought in my humble opinion. I base this opinion on the high RSI reading and the low TRIN reading in combination with a number of other indicators.

The charts linked to the post here show that there is nothing special about 10,500 on the dow if you ask me.
