Sidney - it appears you are suffering from opinion based upon emotion.

That has led to you false judge others - of whom I appear to be one.

You ask

"Do either of THEM...

Hold than we must be born again:

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

It is obviously scriptural - and yes I believe I have been "born again"

but what is it to be "born again" does that
simply mean to "accept Jesus as your personal saviour"?

Or does it mean to be born of the Holy Ghost from above by
the will of God and not the will of the flesh or human decision?

Peter said this about being born again:

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible, by the word of God,
which liveth and abideth for ever.

Is it any wonder that I should wonder when men SAY they have been "born again"
and yet have no use for the Word of God by which those who are
truly born again are birthed?

I say unto you....

except a man TRULY be born again - he cannot even see the kingdom of God
nor love His truth found in His word.

Tell me - do you think that these men spoken of in this next verse
ever "accepted Jesus as their saviour":

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Let us "reason together"

These men are calling Jesus "Lord" - it is safe to presume they
believed He was indeed the son of God.

These men had "prophesied" in Jesus name - they likely spoke
in "tongues" in some pentecostal church for that matter.

These men "IN JESUS NAME" had done many wonderous works

yet this is what Jesus said to them:

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:
depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Let's see now - is it not safe to presume that *IF* they are
calling Jesus "LORD" and doing all of these miracles etc
that somewhere along the line some one told them to accept Jesus?

Did they do everything except "accept Jesus"?

No - quite the contrary - they - are doing miracles
you will find them at the front of many churches today.

These men were doing works in Jesus name "MIGHTILY" :-0

These kind of men are preaching the 4 spiritual 'flaws'
and having alter calls themselves and yet they are going to hell.

These men were not saved but they accepted Jesus as their personal saviours.

As far as the rest of your questions

Yes - Jesus has forgiven my sins
He put His seal upon me and wrote my name
in the book of life before He created Adam and Eve
Jesus is the only begotten son of God
He is the only saviour of any men anywhere
He is my saviour - but He is not saving all men.

If you are becoming my enemy - then I fear for you
because I know which side of Judgement I am situated on.

Jesus will say this to many of todays "Pastors":

I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Sidney - since you asked about me... if you don't mind my asking
what makes you think that you are born again?

Yours was a challenge but mine is a question.

Brian

Grace and peace unto you.
