It's a widely watched show, and it almost certainly was the catalyst driving up the stock price this week.

Well, it didn't hurt. She mentioned both companies and expressed no preference. Many inexperienced investors might have looked at SIRI's share price and erroneously concluded it was a better value (without considering the massive number of outstanding shares and without knowing the history of SIRI's management snafus).

But for this simple remark (almost an afterthought to her other picks) to have driven the price of SIRI to its current level seems unlikely.

It is nice to see Wall Street begin to catch on. But I really doubt these remarks are the basis for the irrational exhuberance we have witnessed in SIRI's share price..
