Nadine, the post goes to point out that there continues to be a concerted effort in DC by people like Wolfowitz and Pearle, to push forward the pre-emptive strike agenda. In order to gain support, they need to constantly show progress of that agenda. And as part of that we hear things eight months later such as the weapons find and Al-Qaeda related documents. The recent cancellations of the international flights is another ploy to constantly remind the public and keep alive in front of their eyes that the Bush Administration is winning the war on terrorism and hence he deserves to be reelected, never mind the economy. Show me something of significance that the Administration has accomplished in it war against Al Qaeda. Where are the sleeper cells in the US? Have they busted any? I mean they cannot even get to the person/persons/groups responsible for the anthrax attacks!!
