"Here's the way I see it. You don't want the US to support Israel. So you basically ignore arguments that support Israel and ignore the fact that you never are critical of terrorist tactics, so long as they are aimed at Israel. In essence, terror is ok because Israel is at fault."

You must be blind if you see it that way. You can support a friend and also warn him when he goes off the deep end and does stupid things. You always want to go to the extreme. If someone doesn't agree with Israeli policies they must be anti semitic. That's your way of stopping any progress. SOME Palestinians would like to see Israel blown off the face of the earth. Some Israeli's would like to see the Palestinians blown off the face of the earth. Some Israelis want the arab countries to take care of the mess Israel has made and take the Palestinian refugees in. This seems to be the camp that you are in. You take want some Palestinians say and project it on all of the Palestinians. When you get called on it you revert to Holocaust or right to existence or right to defend argument. You point out every time some Palestinians do or feel something but ignore the Israelis feeling the same thing. You point out to us Arafat saying one thing to the west and something else in Arabic to his people while ignoring Sharon telling Bush he is going along with the Peace Plan and the settlements when he is telling his people that the settlements are staying.
I bring up these things and you go ballistic. I ONLY bring them up in response to sections in your posts.

"What those who won't forget want is to make sure that this never happens again, not just to Jews."

I used to think that was what it was about until Pol Pot whacked 2 1/2 million of his people, until in one weekend over 100,000 African tribesman were hacked to death and to date the casualties were over 1,000,000 and I don't see the holocaust franchises or Israel saying a damn thing or making any difference. so the conclusion is that they are to keep the guilt and money flowing for Israel and its policy of "Greater Israel".

"Money will compensate those who have legitimate claims, whether they are Israeli settlers or in Palestinian camps"

Read some of Dershowitz's (sp) writings. He is suppossedly an American. He builds a big case that reparations are to be paid only to the living not to heirs. Therefore as we keep this going, so far 50 years and counting, there will not be anyone left who should be paid.

Amazing piece of logic. Ruff, this next sentence is to set you off again. Just imagine if Germany did this after world war 11 instead of reparations for the dead, the survivors and for those who left before the war for what their careers would have been.
