Hi Alastair.. I do have IB accounts since July of 2002.. At that time they were not offering canadian trading and since I knew I was only going to trade US stocks with them, I seeded the account with US dollar.. And when I want to add, I just send them a draft.. From Vancouver to their office in Montreal and in to my account usually takes 3-4 days at most if I time it right..
