While I have great sympathy for McCain and everything he had to endure as a POW, that doesn't automatically make him my choice as someone to represent me. There have been many issues, I would have stood toe to toe with him, and insisted he was wrong! The websites, you posted were very informative, but I couldn't open... ACU website: acuratings.com As far as switching parties, many of the older Southern democrats were really modern day Republicans, and as time wore on, they realized it and switched parties. Zell Miller would have become a Republican, there is no doubt in my mind, since he said he was voting for President Bush. It is a shame he is retiring, he is a fair and honest man and was supported by both Republicans and democraps...
