I posted that article here, since this is the first time that I have seen this "defense" for the administrations actions.

It's only been in the past couple of days that some clever White House lawyer thought up this whopper. It's a humdinger of a lawyerly ruse. And the damned shame is that it just might fly.

Hell, even you are sucker enough to think that anyone in the White House is just making "an honest mistake" occasionally. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a criminal conspiracy that is vigilant to try to cover its illegal tracks 24/7/365.

Just look at how all the damaging Executive orders, agency directives, lawsuit settlements, etc. all seem to come out late Friday afternoons or over holiday weekends when they're sure they are taking advantage of the news cycle to bury the bad news that the Bush Administration is the greatest threat to the American public today.

whoever leaked the names were not willing felons, only recklessly irresponsible

You could argue that, and I could laugh at your naivete. :) Of course, in John Ashcroft's America, absolutely no one in the White House is a "willing felon™". But a senior citizen in California growing a little pot for pain relief most certainly is.

We have no law system worth a damn in America today.
