Much more enjoyable in the winter in the North Atlantic then being on a fast frigate I would bet. In fact I remember a very unpleasant 40 hours on the surface during a winter storm because of a reactor scram breaker that went to hell. 40' waves or better I think. 40° up angles with 20+° side to side. Not fun but short term. Those skimmer dudes will do that for 90+ days straight up there.
