<That doesn't make any sense at all.> Invading Iraq without the UN did not make sense. Invading Iraq without a post-invasion plan did not make sense. Expecting an invasion of Iraq to help in the war on terror did not make sense. Expecting the United States to manage the political process in Iraq did not make sense. Expecting a quick victory and a short and costless occupation did not make sense. Lots of things don't make sense. But here we are, counting our dead day after day. You think we will just kill them all and that is that -- but that does not make sense. We have the proof -- our children coming home in body bags -- 483 dead, 2,700 wounded and many, many more to become sick later in life from depleted uranium and the other environmental horrors of "modern" killing.
