I read the transcript carefully (and painfully) a second time, and must admit, it's almost all babble written by a sycophant, apparently for consumption by other sycophants. As others have posted (Jay really hit it), mostly a bunch of lame excuses. One could conclude just about anything (or nothing) from it. There are some parts (that I posted)that seemed to me to be preparing the market for an inflation fight, but nothing was clear, crisp and concise about it. About the worst communication style imaginable for an individual like me to grasp. Next time he speaks, I think I'll just totally pass. If I were ever in the same room with the guy, I'd have to get my 2 by 4 out, and whoop him upside the head.
