We killed thousands of innocent people in Iraq so far this year and many thousands more who chose for one reason or another to fight our invasion and occupation of their country -- and they were not al Qaeda. The few al Qaeda that may have been killed had to come in from other countries. Meanwhile, al Qaeda, not to mention the Taliban, have had a chance to regroup. Iraq, al Qaeda -- two different issues, no matter how desperately you try to pretend that they are one and the same.

Since when does anything Debka blabs have any credibility? Chinese Muslims massed at the Afghan border, Saudis massed at the Jordanian border, there's always some "imminent threat" somewhere with those guys. By now, it would seem reasonable to conclude that they're just making it up.
