I definitely do not support, or want to support the illegal immigrants who come here, for whatever reason.

Neither do I and neither do our governments and we send most of them back but some manage to slip in and over 15 - 20 years they add up and we wind up with some millions of them. Now what?

They are too many to deport. They are more useful to us legalized than illegal.

QED

It's not ideal, I know, but it's reality.

Furthermore, right now our demographics demand we have lots of immigrantion.

Look at Japan's demographics. It can't deal with immigrants and they're running out of workers. - neither Canada nor the US can afford to go in that direction.
