I don't know the dollar index will be in 12 months. But, I think it could be much lower, but it won't be a straight line drop. I also expect to see rising interest rate which will attract foreign bond buyers to lift dollar. The trick to keep US economy growth at a healthy rate is to balance the US dollar index, interest rate, CRB Index and job creation. I really would like to see some one with academic background to quantify the balance point. It is clear that FED is trying to inflate us out of the deep hole. However, they know very well that over-inflating can create hyperinflation. I believe FED is doing all it can do to keep everything in check. There is very little room for error. I wish we can come out the hole in one piece<G>. In order to rescue us from economical nightmare, our president and congress have to cut deficits and establish accountabilities. It is US citizen's responsibilities to demand such actions in the coming elections. Running high speed printer press is like playing fire in a gasoline depot. Unfortunately, the majority of US citizens don't understand the roots of the problems. I will try to sort out the messages from the markets to make my investment decisions instead of following those extremely bearish or bullish views of those professional newsletters. They sell newsletters and services to make a living. We are the foot soldiers to prove if they are correct. Every one will be very happy if they are right. However, we will be slaughtered if they are not so correct or even worse, completely wrong. I will treat these newsletters as advisory references to help me making my own decisions. I am not familiar with European stocks and their markets. But, I am trying very hard to rotate my US stocks into the right sectors. I use stop loss orders to prevent accidental drops. Stock selection is critically important in any markets, especially at this juncture. What are the specific US and European stocks on your list? Wade
