yeah, multiple time frame analysis is important. my post was only meant to convey the macro perspective (the one in which i find this thread to be primarily concerned with). some of those charts are amazing, imo

obviously, this sort of uptrend cannot go on indefinitely. even so, i don't care to take a (public) stand on whether things will crumble slowly, or if the sector's decline will happen in a waterfall-like, precipitous plunge.

i lost a fair amount of money in the past year by being early in my purchase of otm leap puts on homebuilders and big money lenders.

i might attempt to deploy this strategy again, but with greater discretion. the thought of another worthless expiry makes me cringe.

a Christmas joke for making the grade

St Peter was managing the pearly gate entrance during the Christmas season
as a second tier for passage, people had to demonstrate festive activity of a holiday nature

the first guy claimed to have a decorated Christmas tree
Pete said "excellent, you are in"

the second guy struggled, but finally came up with a jingling set of car keys, which he claimed to sound like jingle bells
Pete said reluctantly "good enough, you are in"

the third guy wore a rogue's grin, and gently pulled out a pair of women's panties
Pete blocked him with "what is this?"
the guy offered "these are my favorite among Carole's"
Pete laughed and said "sorry, but her songs dont rhyme"

russwinter or anyone,

how far out are treasuries, agency and other bond sales scheduled? Does anyone have such information or a link of the scheduled sales?
