We fight losing battles from generation to generation here too- hello, how about the amazingly stupid war on drugs? Yup. We are idiots, just like the rest of the world. Not much to crow about, considering the number of people behind bars for non-violent crimes.

Where's Rodney King when we need him? "Can't we all just get along?" Of course, we both know that those who stay in power need "the people" to focus on that great enemy. Many of my left of moderate friends point to Bush and I respectfully suggest that OBL, the Saudi sheiks, Yessir Arafat, Mohamar, Saddam et als., take the manipulation to a degree that really is not comparable. I find myself strangely sounding a bit Libertarian. NAH! Have a good night....
