SIRI and ADCT:
SIRI is Sirius Radio, the second contender in satellite radio. Looking at how XMSR has done, SIRI is likely to run quite a bit here based on momo. fundamentally, both SIRI and XMSR are way overpriced, but don't fight momo in a rising market.
ADCT is ADC Telecommunications, Inc. is a global supplier of broadband network equipment, software and systems integration services that enable communications service providers to deliver high-speed Internet, data, video and voice services - this was a good stock that hit the crapper with the decline of telecom. recently announced positive prospects and is one of the companies selected by VZ for their broadband rollout. while this is still far out, it is a strong recommendation for the stock.
Skippy's picks: LFC and RRI:
LFC is China Life, a recent Chine IPO (Came out in low 20's). With the strong flow of money into the Chinese sector, LFC looks to have a huge run over the next 6 months to a year. There was a report that Buffett is taking a stake in LFC. Very few Chinese have life insurance, so it is a wide open market.
RRI is Reliant Resources, an IPP (Independent Power Producer) that is a result of a spin-off from Reliant Energy (the old Houston Electric). It had a near brush with bankruptcy, which drove the stock down to the 2's., but has rallied and is now trading at 12 month high. RRI, currently 7.48, is likely to trade 10-15 this year, imo. larry
