Victor,
First, unions were not mentioned even once in today's debate. Unfortunately, they no longer have power(just when American workers really need them).
Second, Dean made his stand on taxes very clear today. He said the rebates were smoke & mirrors. As a result of Bush Adm policies, middle class taxpayers cost of living has increased far more than the amounts of their rebate checks. He DOES want to eliminate rebates for wealthiest, which makes perfect sense. The only truly honest American billionaire, Warren Buffett, said it was ridiculous to include the wealthiest in tax rebates. (Ted Turner might belong in Buffett's rarified air when it comes to lack of greed among billionaires.)
