Turned cold in eastern Washington today; a high of about 18 and a current low @9:00 pm of -11. We had a record one snow fall of 11.5" Wednesday. I believe winter is coming.

jim_p, GMX Resources (GMXR) -- Can I drop some names on you? GMX Resources, based in Oklahoma but mostly operates in East Texas. Owned and controlled by the Kenworthy family. Wondering if you (or anyone else) know(s) anything about them that you would care to share. They have a large amount of proved undeveloped acreage that they have been just sitting on for years (literally), and finally got Penn Virginia Corp (PVA) to farm in and help them drill it out. They had some nasty, long legal battle with Nabors Drilling that was settled last May.

The stock really moved up on the initial news of the farm out but has been pulling back pretty strongly now that they got the deal signed up. Wondering if I've missed anything.

BTW, sounds like you had quite a ski trip there! How is the snow coverage out West so far this year?

RRI was my only loser today. This is an interesting commentary on the condition of the market. Crap like LU, NT, INAP, NUVO, RTK, SIRI, etc. etc. goes up notwithstanding unrealistic valuations. Companies like RRI, that have real assets and earnings, go down....
