the Clinton economic legacy weighs very heavily on Bush. Only 3 years ago we had full employment and now we have nada. Bush won't even address the issue, you know why? Because Bush's supply side economic team doesn't want to admit that trickle down doesn't work in a global market. So he just stays quiet and hopes nobody notices that half the country is unemployed and new college graduates have the worst job prospects since WWII. I think it is naive for Bush to think he can't deal with the problem.
