Well then you need to re-calibrate your compass. The Vietnam war began with tremendous American public support. What happened to that support?

We have seen the support for this war diminish over time. The rhetoric of this administration regarding Iraq as part of the war on terror, will be the beginning of the end for this administration. 7 out of 10 people believed that Saddam was involved in 9-11. This is a lie supported by administration rhetoric and slight of hand. A calculated policy to garner support for a war in Iraq, and use the tragedy of 9-11 to support such a war. This was pure manipulation of the American public. But I believe that in the end the American people will "get it". They will understand that the administration entered this war in Iraq on false pretenses. That the support of the war was "sold" to Americans under a different label.

The time is coming when Bush will have to answer these questions. We've already seen his answer to Diane Sawyer. As he twisted up his face and snarled, "What difference does it make?"

It proves to me that the WMD made no difference at all. The reasons for the war were couched in lies about WMD and imminent threats. We all know now what the president knew then. There are no WMD. There was no imminent threat. The Iraqi Air Force never lifted a singe aircraft in the war. This was a broken nation with a despot leader. But a war was not needed to solve the problem of weapons of Saddam.

End the madness of an administration that's out of control.

Vote Democrat.

Thank You,
Orca
