Hawaii has the highest rate of medical insurance coverage in the country -- not bad for a bunch of people who left their own countries a couple of generations ago because their prospects at home were so terrible that cutting sugar cane in Hawaii was their best option. As for the politcal scene -- you know what they say -- power corrupts. BTW, who is the most powerful politician in the US?
