Since we were not under attack from Iraq in the first place, and since we would not be engaged in a guerilla war in Iraq at all if we had not chosen to unilaterally invade and occupy Iraq, it seems foolish to consider a reduced rate of attacks as a big victory -- if indeed it is even true. Thousands of our troops are dead or wounded. Thousands have been killed or wounded -- more die each day. How many al Qaeda have died in Iraq? We are the ones dying in Iraq. We are the flies caught in the flypaper.

Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "Have you noticed that attacks and casualties have been trending down, and even the NYTimes reports that our intelligence is improving? Do you think is just, maybe possible, that we could stabilize Iraq, esp. as the vast majority of the Iraqis do not sympathize with the Ba'athists and foreign fights who are waging jihad by blowing up Iraqi generators?"

Glad to hear that you're so confident. Okay, give me a prediction for the month when fewer CPA soldiers lose their lives than June, when 33 died.

Or, alternatively, admit that as far as you know, the resistance in Iraq will continue as long the resistance in Palestine has continued.

No.
