I wonder what our Founding Fathers would have to say about these Bush "free speech zones"!

Anyone who is an enemy of free speech, is an enemy of freedom itself. Protestors can not be corralled in pre-selected protest zones. That is a clear violation of constitutional rights.

I'm getting angrier by the day with this administration.

I do not see how republicans can support this man who has clearly violated the laws of the land, violated the trust of the American people.

What would you do as president if you knew that Al Qaeda was going to hijack planes, and do it very soon? Would you do nothing and then claim that you could not have forseen that a plane would be used in a suicide bombing?

That information was clearly known about in the intelligence community. But somehow this administration couldn't put 2 and 2 together?

Even if they had only planned a "regular" hijacking. That's still putting hundreds of Americans at risk of being held hostage or even death.

Why wasn't the word out out to the airlines and the flying public? Why wasn't security beefed up at airports? Just the mention of the suspicion of hijackings and the additional awareness it would have created might have prevented 9-11.

Bush needs to be held accountable for his silence on the matter. It's unimaginable to me the need for silence on this matter. Ashcroft had already stopped using commercial airlines for travel. Why weren't the American people told?

We cannot trust Bush to keep this country safe, we cannot trust Bush period.

I dont dispute that, but are you aware that is STANDARD POLICY practiced by ALL major politicians, Republican or Democrat? Besides not wishing to have the speakers message interrupted by protestors there is a safety thing involved too. jdn
