Good grief -- I never said interest payments weren't included. In fact, I told you they amounted to less than 3.7% of the total of imports and income payments and have been dropping for the last three years. But that still does NOT mean that treasury borrowing is part of the current account deficit numbers, that a budget deficit causes a current account deficit, that there is any correlation between the two, that foreign investors are moments away from refusing to invest in US government or private securities, that the dollar has experienced any kind of unprecedented collapse over the last two years, that the dollar will see a "second demise" in 2004, or that you have a clue what you're talking about.
