Funny you should mention that Kerry, In the last two years the second half and especially the final quarter accounted for a far larger proportion of gains than the first and second quarters..

OTOH I've been, except for a brief period at the start of 2003, highly invested over the last two years. Except for early in 2003 (up to 60% cash at one point) I've rarely more than 10% free in my active accounts for any extended period. Something just always turns up. (I've some stuff stashed away for a rainy day that I don't include) so in someways I'm a daredevil ;o)

BYW I've also a substantial holding in energy trusts paying dividends.

These anxiety thoughts are actually more a result of good success in the last couple of years and find I need to find new diversification venues. I've a lot more to lose today than I had only 3 years ago and at 47 I'm looking for freedom 50-51 ;o)

Success is work ..

Kastel
