aero, From the little I follow the OSX stocks it seems UBS is right on. For example, PTEN will be announcing its December drilling days this week. Say 4Q comes out flat to 3Q, I wonder if the analysts will start lowering their earnings estimates even though its getting cold and there was an uptick in gas-directed rigs in recent weeks. The PTEN earnings estimates for '04 assume a very healthy increase in rig counts and/or a huge increase in day rates.

ubs downgrades not having desired impact today. looks like at noon ubs reissued it's osx downgrade ratings.
