Paunch - overcome your packaged prejudices for a moment and read the chart I sent you! It's a one year comparison including NEM and ABX and you'll see if you look that Barrick is making a comeback and my point is that IMO Barrick will likely be leading the pack soon - with it's announcement on hedging behind it. As for the problems you raise about Barrick don't you think if they were real the market would reflect it? It's time more people called GATA for it's incessant misleading propaganda. But you swallow it hook line and sinker.
